PLASMA STORAGE FREEZERS (-300 C)

Helmer offers full range of Plasma storage freezers offer exceptional benefits to provide the most secure environment for your valuable blood products. These freezers have been designed to complement our blood bank refrigerators and feature superior cabinet construction, bacteria-resistant powder coating, foamed-in-place urethane insulation, and uniform temperature.

Plasma Storage Freezers are available in both the i.Series® and Horizon Series™ lines. i.Series Freezers feature the i.Center Integrated Monitoring System. Horizon Series Freezers offer a microprocessor temperature controller and alarm/monitoring system. Refrigeration system defrost can be programmed to the actual time desired, allowing defrost cycles to run automatically during low use periods. Plasma Storage Freezers are available in two interior configurations, 8-drawer and 4-drawer, 4-shelf. The 8-drawer version features the Cold-Shield System with hinged door air shield. All Helmer Plasma Storage Freezers meet the AABB and ARC criteria for blood plasma storage.

HORIZON SERIES

Refrigeration system

Heavy-duty, air-cooled, forced-air refrigeration system.
Non-CFC, commercially available refrigerant.
Automatic condensate evaporator is standard.
Internal evaporator fan shuts off during door openings.
Electric defrost.

Cabinet construction

Interior and exterior made from galvannealed steel with bacteria-resistant powder coating.
Superior engineered frame for maximum rigidity.
Choice of two interior configurations: 8-drawer or 4-drawer / 4-shelf.
Cold-Shield System: Air shield with hinged door and closely spaced drawers (8-drawer models only).
Heated door frame.
Magnetic door seal and latch with key lock for secure closure.
Minimum of 5cm non-CFC foamed urethane insulation.
Recessed floor contains spills for easy clean-up.
Swivel, locking casters.
Access port located in chamber top for external monitoring probe

Drawers

Solid stainless steel pull out drawers.
Drawers are 10cm high.
Height is adjustable on 2.5cm centers.
Drawer fronts are 15cm high to prevent intrusion of ambient air.
Easy-Glide stainless steel drawer slides and standards for smooth operation at low temperatures.
Durable, liquid-tight construction.

Shelves

Zinc-plated, powder coated wire shelves. Shelves feature side and rear guards to prevent items from falling off the shelf. (Shelves are only included on the iHPF125-4 and HHPF125-4 models.)

HORIZON SERIES
	Horizon Series Freezers offer a microprocessor temperature controller and alarm/monitoring system. The units feature a single door and are 91cm deep. Plasma Storage Freezers are available with 8 drawers, or in a 4-drawer/4-shelf configuration. Product features: Temperature control and monitoring All Horizon Series Plasma Storage Freezers feature a microprocessor temperature controller with a built-in alarm monitor Single, stainless steel monitoring probe is located in the product simulation bottle. Digital microprocessor temperature controller is set to -30ºC with the following features: - Electric refrigeration system defrost can be programmed to actual time desired, allowing defrost cycles to run automatically during low use periods. - Controller is equipped with a temperature probe mounted in the chamber. - Digital calibration offset adjustment for controller calibration. Four-inch, 7-day circular chart recorder with the following features: - Inkless, pressure-sensitive chart paper with a range of -50ºC to 0ºC. - Electronic drive mechanism for consistent results. - Battery backup ensuring continuous operation. - Touch button controls for chart changes and calibration. - Power status indicator.

I CENTER
	i.Center technology is exclusive to the i.Series line from Helmer. It constantly monitors the chamber temperature and critical freezer functions, safeguarding the products inside and providing valuable information to the user. A large, digital viewsceen provides easy access to all i.Center functions and features.
